About the Unit
The Africa University Clinical Research Centre (AUCRC) is a unit under the College of Health Agriculture & Natural Sciences (CHANS).
History
AUCRC’s first project was established in 2006 in collaboration with and sponsored by St Jude Children’s Research Hospital (SJCRH) in Memphis, TN, USA. This project involved the set up and establishment of a research centre in preparation for an HIV vaccine trial and lasted for three years
